I wonder if anyone's considered bringing a lawsuit against these people for creating conditions that could directly cause an epileptic seizure, without warning people of those conditions before hand.
I mean, I'm against frivolous lawsuits as a whole, but the epilepsy ones seem to have a track record of success, and the brightly flashing ads are just begging for it. In this case, I'd consider it two wrongs making a right.

It seems a fair few people in the US at least are forever cast into the pits of doom thanks to clever viruses using "Open me" as their titles in e-mails.

If someone could get an epileptic seizure from something like in the OP, then they must have the most severe case of epilepsy I've ever heard of.Oni Koneko Damien wrote:I wonder if anyone's considered bringing a lawsuit against these people for creating conditions that could directly cause an epileptic seizure, without warning people of those conditions before hand.

Excellent point. I'd like to know what the per capita OCD rates are from the last century up to present, because I get a sneaking suspicion that OCD rates are increasing...Admiral Valdemar wrote:It seems a fair few people in the US at least are forever cast into the pits of doom thanks to clever viruses using "Open me" as their titles in e-mails.
