Yes, we were, because that kind of high-waisted dress looks good on me But it's a modern pattern from McCall's Bridal patterns. The FlowerGirl's dress is a variation of mine, also from a pattern.

Thanks, Hipper. It was sunny, 80*F, and the following week was just fantastic weather as well. It didn't rain until the following Saturday!

My hair's actually longer than in the pictures, it's all up in a french twist under the veil, except for those little ringlets at my ears. And there was an entire can of hairspray holding the curls, twist, and ringlets in place. Took two washings to get all the junk out of my hair!

You should be used to that by now. Because one's mental image is ALWAYS different from how they actually look.
