Yes, that's a full-size bed.

Lucky bastard.
Meanwhile, I’m stuck in this broom closet they have the nerve to call a dorm.

Show us a closeup of that poster on your wall. You know what I'm talking about....the one on the left wall, closest to the computer.

Hmm, that bed's big enough for company to stay comfortably. How fortunate.

It's the one of those two girls kissing each other, in black and white.
My dorm is a double, but if it were split straight down the middle and my side were taken out, it'd be slightly wider than Durandal's up there. My bed's thinner though, I think, but my desk bigger.

Nice room thought it is a bit too small.

But is that a dorm or an apartment? Also, what year are you, Durandal?

Sexy room you have there
BTW, have you ever heard of a group of Frat boys at your university that built a 3 story trebuchet to bombard a rival frat with trash bags filled with paint?
Because if you have... My friend's(Shark Bait's) father will be rather impressed.

It's a townhouse, actually. And I'll be a senior in the Fall.

You've either never been in a college dorm or are just stinking rich.

Cool...spartan but for college living, not bad at all.

This is the dorm room I shared with a roomate in 1st year university, it was all downhill from there. Sorry about the bad quality, my scanner doesn't like high contrast pictures.
What made the room so good was the million dollar view. You can see right to the parliament buildings in our nation's capital (Ottawa).

I'm a bit surprised you don't have "The Kiss" hanging on the ceiling above your bed, now that I think about it...

by Durandal
I'd love to, but the ceiling isn't exactly accommodating for push-pins.

I'm sure if you really wanted to, you could put that brain of yours to work and figure something out.

Blue sticky-tack is your friend, you can find it in most office supply stores for a buck or 2. Just be sure to use enough of it so that the posters don't fall down on you in the middle of night...which happened to my roomate one night while he was going at it with his chick. Rather interesting event I'm told....

aerius, you will notice that I manage to have
two mountain bikes in the appartment. Best thing is, I even have a very tiny bedroom with a full sized bed.

Or you've become the president of one of your university's social clubs and the club facilities become your home. This is one of the rooms at Cloister House in Princeton, it's sort of a bed & breakfast inn with a large reception area on the main floor and lots of nice guest rooms in the floors above. It's as good as living in a house. This picture doesn't even show half my room, and I also had a separate bedroom & washroom, and there's also a large kitchen which we share.

Yeah this is a 2-story townhouse that's about 3 years old. I'm paying $345 USD per month, but broadband internet is included in the rent, so it's actually more like $300 per month. $50 more rent than my old place, but infinitely better.

You're splitting the entire rent between how many people?

There are three people total each paying $345.

Lucky sonovabitch. $1400 for a two bedroom apartment here is considered CHEAP.

I see you've got a nice, pretty G4...
Macs are nice, although I prefer ugly old PCs that I can keep hacking together ad infinitum.
