Now that this thread is up: how does one create images and that work properly in SP:MBT? when I try to create, say, a picture for a unit's information window, it appears in weird and outrageous colours when viewed through SP:MBT (and yes, I save it in 8-bit .lbm format)

You have to save it in the palette used for SPMBTMa Deuce wrote:Now that this thread is up: how does one create images and that work properly in SP:MBT? when I try to create, say, a picture for a unit's information window, it appears in weird and outrageous colours when viewed through SP:MBT (and yes, I save it in 8-bit .lbm format)

LBM's
Actually, an easier method is to open an existing LBM in your paint program, (I use Paintshop Pro), then take your 160x80 pixel picture, and selsct the whole thing, hit copy, then click the opened existing LBM, and paste the selected pic into it, save as a different number, and voila!! Works every time...
