Can I give someone here the original pic of my avatar and then have you make it look better? I shrunk it and it doesn't look very good. HELP!

EDIT: Nevermind this last bit. But the first point stands.

You could try IRfanView32. It should be on any decent freeware site, and does shrink images quite neatly.
