What are the CDs you can't possibly live without? The kind where if it's lost/stolen/scratched you go out and by another next day.
1) Pink Floyd: The Darkside of the Moon
2) Pearl Jam: Ten
3) The Cranberries: No Need to Argue

Oooo, cranberries. Good stuff.
Godsmack is a must.
Some sort of Areosmith is a must.
Something soft, can't be specific, is a must.
Fey's Pipes, is a new happy place.

;
while me and you might come to the same conclusions, I can honestly say, I don't think that everyone would come to the same.
That said, I'll meet you in the middle of her, Fey.

Excuse me, but that position is reserved for "Live Shit: Binge & Purge" by Metallica. That said, if ANY of my Metallica, Godsmack, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, or Pantera, cd's were damaged, they would be replaced within 12 hours at the most.

With the exception of Godsmack and Pantera I wholeheartedly agree with your musical selections.

I have all my music on my hard drive, and only use my CD collection for DJ purposes.
Having said that:

Scissor Sisters debut album
Nine Inch Nails - And All That Could Have Been
Space - Spiders (sorry fellow arachnaphobes)
The last one nearly gives me a nervous break down to play, but once i've got the CD in the player i'm happy as a pig in the proverbial.

Pilate- Caught by the Window
Radiohead- OK Computer
Coldplay- Parachutes
Travis- The Invisible Band
Can't live without these albums, which are rather radically different from all the metal and hard rock being bandied about in here. Hurray for Britpop! I have pictures, but can't be assed to find them.

I wasn't aware anyone but me loved Brutal Planet more than all other Alice albums...
Oh well, I rock.
