Ok new at these boards how do I post pictures that I have on my hard drive.

You'll have to upload them to a server or something. I recommend

Then you'll just have to post the hotlink here.

Ok got that part figured out the only problem is the pic thats posted is 188K how can I make it smaller or do I have compress the file then uploaded it.

you had to say photosho didn't you. Oh well maybe they have a cheap version at CD alley outside the base.

or download the gimp. i don´t use it but i´m sure the gimp can do the trick as well.
even that pice of shit called MS Photo Draw, which comes with MS Office can do that.
and no, they don´t have cheap versions anywhere. photshop is around 250€.
perhaps you find it cheaper on ebay.

use irfanview if all you're doing is resizing. there's a link to it in the image tools thread.
