Right, I want to make my avatar Banjo the Clown! God of Puppets, but I can't seem to trim it so it looks nice....

So, HELP PLEASE!

I had to cut out the original background, because no matter what I did it didn't look right. I got two versions.

That would be because I saved them as PNG

Edit: Made the filesize of the star background smaller.

You need a better browser then.

...In any case, unless if something changed that I don't know of, the limit of the avatar filesize here is merely 6 KB (6,144 bytes). I modified the already posted ones so they can fit, as well as made my own version, sans interesting background.

(71x100, 24 bpp, 5391 bytes, PNG)
(88x100, 8 bpp, 5950 bytes, PNG)
(80x100, 8bpp, 4400 bytes, PNG)

EDIT : Last one is 4400 bytes, no 440.)

Are you using IE, because that tends to mangle pngs...
