Catchy crap songs

OK, you know you've got 'em - songs that you will not generally admit to liking, yet inwardly, you have to admit, they're kind of catchy tunes.

A few of mine are:

"Say You'll Be There" by the Spice Girls (and you have no idea how painful it is for me to admit that, since I generally regard the Spice Girls as the absolute epitome of modern, prefab, pop trash crap, but this particular song is catchy).

"Night Fever" by the Bee Gees

"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper

"Goody Two Shoes" by Adam Ant

"Crazy train" by Ozzy Osbourne ( I generally detest headbanger music)

"Dancing with Myself" by Billy Idol

"Ring of fire", " Folsom Prison Blues", and "A Boy Named Sue", by Johnny Cash ( I hate to admit this, since I hate country music).

And there are probably others I could name if I put my mind to it, but these are the first ones that spring to mind. So who else is brave enough to admit their guilty pleasure songs?

Grrrr, I'm a sucker for a good hook. Abba, "Dancing Queen". There. I said it.

And that damn Blink182 (although their drummer is awesome):

Where do we go from here? I'm feelin' it
Turn all the lights down low...I'm feelin' it

Crap, that song drove me crazy in my sleep!

The Banana Phone song.

Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring, Banana Phone!
Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring, Banana Phoooone!
I've got a feelin', it's so appealin',
That we should get together and sing, SING!

Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring, Banana Phone!
Ding Dong Ding Dong Ding Dong Ding, Banana Phoooone!
It grows in bunches, I've got my hunches,
That it's the best, it beats the rest,
Cellular, modular, interactive-odular!

Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring, Banana Phone!
Ping Pong Ping Pong Ping Pong Ping, Banana Phooone!
It's no baloney! It ain't a phony!
It's my cellular, bananular phooone!

*twitch twitch*

To me, the most catchy song is Hide You from Kosheen. Both the radio edit and the dance version had been equally echoing in my head over and over and over and over again, 'till I went crazy.

If you were in my heart I'd surely not break you
If you were beside me and my love would take you
I'll keep you in safety forever protect you
I'll hide you away from the world you rejected
I'll hide you
I'll hide you

If you were in my heart I'd surely not break you
If you were beside me and my love would take you
I'll keep you in safety forever protect you
I'll hide you away from the world you rejected
I'll hide you
I'll hide you

If you were in my heart I'd surely not break you
If you were beside me and my love would take you
I'll keep you in safety forever protect you
I'll hide you away from the world you rejected
I'll hide you
I'll hide you

If you were in my heart I'd surely not break you
If you were beside me and my love would take you
I'll keep you in safety forever protect you
I'll hide you away from the world you rejected
I'll hide you
I'll hide you

On a 4-hour car trip to a rocket launch event, my friends played this song at least 5 times. I had to plug my ears with my fists kindergartener-style to prevent the infestation from taking hold. They could seriously use that thing as an anti-infantry weapon.

My roomate in 1st year university played that song every day for an entire semester. Nice guy, but I felt like beating him on the head for playing that damn song all the time.

I'm Canadian, which means on any given day that song will get played on the radio at least twice. It was ok for the first 1000 times, then it started getting to me.

Not strictly a crap song, but Somebody Told Me by The Killers. Good catchy pop-rock.

How could I have forgotten that one? Both the local stations in DC and my Launchcast are playing it non-stop! I didn't like it when I first heard it, but its grown on me (unfortunately).
