Anyone old enough to remember the Big Mac song from the Mac Donald's commercials from the 80's (or maybe even early 90's)? The 'two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun' song? I'm making a CD of songs about my New Year's vacation with my crew, and I need that song but can't find it anywhere! Does anyone happen to have it please oh please oh please?

It was all the rage for at least a few years. I remember at least two itenerations of the song. One for the eighties...then they replaced it with the Mac Tonight. Then went back the song for the birthday of the Big Mac.

Bah, I was hoping that posts meant someone found it.

For you curious types, here's the playlist (maybe in order?) for the rest of the CD:

12345 - Spaceballs
Gloria - Laura Brannigan
Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen - Louis Armstrong
Vertigo - U2
Beef Jerky - John Lennon
The Waitress - Tori Amos
Good is Dumb - Spaceballs
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
Rich Girl - Gwen Stefani & Eve
Black Betty - Spiderbait
How We Do - The Game ft. 50 Cent
Ice Cream (Remix) - JS
Hey Ya - Outkast
Assholes - Spaceballs
I Don't Want To Have To Marry You - Jim Ed Brown & Helen Cornelius
Tequila - Los Lobos
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Beer, Beer, Beer - some random Irish guys
This Is Now - Spaceballs
Motorcycle Song (Significance of the Pickle) - Arlo Guthrie
Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson
Hey Mickey - Toni Basil
Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Little Polka Dot Bikini - Bobby Vinton
Auld Lang Syne - Barenaked Ladies

Edit: Am also waiting for Eddie Murphy doing 'Buckwheat's Greatest Hits' and a quote or two from 'Crocodile Dundee' and/or 'Scrooged.'
Edit 2: By 'waiting for' I mean no one on LimeWire is available right now, so I'll try again later in the week when I have time. Rah!

And GR, it's a fabulous playlist because it reflects the fabulous (if a bit bizarre) vacation.

Actually I do remember it; quite well in fact. It`s just something that shouldn`t be remembered... ever.

According to the history section of the McDonald's website the Big Mac Jingle was introduced in 1975 (I was thinking I'd heard it before the 80's. I think it was even available on those novelty t-shirts that were popular during the 70's). :)

you can't find this on KaZaa or Limewire? Shit, i have stuff far more obscure than that obtained via sharing networks.... like beer commercials from the 1950's, nintendo ads from the mid 80's even that stupid 1970's coke commercial where the all sing on the mountain.

Not so far I can't, but that doesn't mean I've stopped looking. Was just askin' in case someone else happened to have the time or inclination to help me look.

AHAHAHA!!! I didn't find the original, but I did (finally) find a 15-second clip of a band called Jellyfish singing it, which is FINE BY ME!! BOOYAH!

Thanks to those of you (GR) who helped me look. :D
