It's grainy because I took it with the camera in my cell phone, but I like how the camera makes the lights seem so much brighter than they are.

That's a pretty sweet model.

I think you can see the nacelle's reflection on the back of the drive section. :P

Ah, the Bandai 1/850 Enterprise.

I got one myself this past year. Its a real pain to wire the engineering section, but once its together (and WORKING!) its a real beauty!

I like the grainy effect, most nebula-like. :D

Does anyone who's gotten this kit think that the "Aztec" patterning to the paint is overdone?

Ooh, that is very nice. Reminds me of the huge scale models they have hanging over Quark's over at the Vegas Hilton.

I think it's done just about right on the saucer. It's the stardrive section where it really glares.

Ack! Why is the port nacelle shut down?!

Lack of warp coils. They're supposed to be installed this Tuesday. 8)

Very awesome, the grainy effect does work, but if you can get a clear shot, that'll be cool.

Maybe this time with a the other working nacelle :P .

Still, damn awesome when all lit up and shiny.

On the refit-Enterprise, only the insides of the nacelle grilles light up at warp power. The port nacelle is on, you just can't see it.

Although, ironically, the starboard nacelle light went out (AGAIN, jesus...) the day after I took that picture.

Wow, that is a very nice realistic model. If I didn't know better I'd say you'd taken a screencap off a DVD or something.

Quantum fluctuations in the warp plasma relays must've tripped a breaker or something.

If you like that, put a camera on a tripod, set the F-stop to maximum, and capture a, say, 3-second exposure. It'll go from looking cool to looking FUCKING KICKASS, mate.

Couldn't help but play with it:

Damn, Mr. Poe. That looks like a screen cap from STII or something. Excellent job!
