Inappropriate thoughts during the Mikado

I watched the Mikado tonight, and at the beginning of the second act, Yum-yum was in the bath, and she produced some rubber duckies.

I spent the rest of the act thinking of "Put down the duckie... put down the duckie... put down the duckie if you want to play the saxophone..."

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've got many creative thoughts of my own but never saw Mikado, so I guess I couldn't contribute much. :( Dammit Lus, I've never thought you'd ever start a thread like this. You've just remind me of a girl I once loved; she shared the same "taste" with me.

I meant just general things in opera, etc reminding you of something out of context.. not just in relation to the Mikado.

What's a Mikado?

Gilbert and Sullivan play. I went to see it with my dad at the Festival Theatre this eveneng.

EDIT: The actual Mikado in the play is the Emperor of Japan, although he plays a very minor role.

It was a major revival in the relationship between Gilbert and Sullivan, after their regular topsy-turvy operettas started getting tired. They broke up for a while but were brought back together to produce the Mikado. The movie "Topsy Turvy," made a while back, was entirely about this.
