I don't know - it seems to me like he's the whole selling point of the image. Sure, you could have the text and ol' Darth there, but what effect will that have besides the slight chuckle that something that seems silly might induce? With Cookie Monster in the image, the joke just seems that much better - he's almost the punchline, in a sense.

What really irks me about it is that the designer (did you make this, Sothis?) didn't space Dark and Side. Could just be Grammer Nazi tinglings, but it just seems to bring it down a slight bit.
