Check out the More Illusions, there are some more awesome ones, but those 2 were the highlights, I still don't understand the second(and why is it Owned style?)

Someone added the quote:

"This is like your argument, it makes no fucking sense!"

The first one is mondo cool. The second one reminds of that painting by Giger in which the monks keep walking around the staircase forever.

erm what does the one with the almonds do?

my brain is uneffected by the motion/3d type illusions completly, so I'm just curilous

Wasn't Giger and wasn't a painting :P

It was either a lithograph or a woodcut by M.C. Escher.

It's quite possible that Giger could've done a similar image, though...

You just got to keep your eyes focused in the centre of the image. If you try to see a different spot every second, then it will seem like it's waving. Still, it's a cool illusion.

I'm only seeing it ocassionally, like when I'm concentrating on it.

It's result of brain damage, I see out of both eye's independantly, so some effects are lost on me. Camoflauge patterns, 3d illusions, ones that expliot the interaction between the eyes...

God this is pathetic...I've been staring at that first one for a good 5-10 minutes now.

Just try to stare at the upper left corner for a second and then change for the right upper corner. Do this repeatedly and you should see the picture waving.
If not, then my brain's definitely burned to bits, for this is how it works for me.

At least Poe doen't have the gif of Jay nodding his head anymore, that was seriously hypnotic.

Escher is a great artist because his works make my head hurt like hell.

Was that Giger or Escher? I can never tell them apart.

If it didn't involve lots of obvious phallic symbols, then it was Escher.

You can't tell apart Giger from Escher? Here's the easy way: Giger did aliens. Escher did Monks walking up stairs.
