Just wait until someone who understands enters the thread, and sees that Vangelis personally wrote the 3 in. :P

Where did you get it, ebay? How much is the price? Is it a new or used one? How rare is the thing? And what are you going to do if you accidentally sctratching a dent on its surface or break it in two (each disc) before you make a copy?

Indirectly. A friend got it there a long time ago, but he wasn't sure where it was, etc.
How much is the price?
We finally settled on $40.
Is it a new or used one?
Used, but like once. He only made mp3 copies.
How rare is the thing?
One of 10. Only ever full Blade Runner soundtrack, this is number 3. Though they've probably found their way onto p2p in the past.
And what are you going to do if you accidentally sctratching a dent on its surface or break it in two before you make a copy?
Already have 3 copies. :P

Pretty reasonable. I paid more for a used Voodoo5 5500 card (with box etc).

Rarer than a Voodoo5 6000. You lucky bastard!

But what if you break the original, lost two copies, while accidentally sit on the last copy without realizing it until you hear the "crack" noise? :P *runs away as YT300000 starts groping for a shotgun*

No, I have 3 digital copies to go with the physical one. Although getting all 10 editions of this soundtrack and cornering the global market on it would be pretty cool too. :D

As for sitting on the last copy, its already wrapped and packed in styrofoam, and in a safe place. I can't properly listen to CDs on here at any rate (the tray is too loud)

But what if all digital copies are somehow erased, all phyisical copies are being cracked when you accidentally roll over them, and the last copy is stolen alongside with the styrofoam package, and it's burned to ashes when the thief got a car accident, and......

Damn, I give up! I guess all my attempts to induce severe case of paranoia regarding to your CD have failed. :(

Ah, by the way, congrats. Blade Runner soundtrack is not my thing (except for that one 80's techno tune, is it the opening theme? Don't quite remember) but getting such rare item for mere fourty bucks is a quite accomplishment. Just FYI, there are 50 Voodoo5 6000 cards out there and I can't still get my hand on one. Congrats again!

PS: what's your eBay id? mine is kreshna_iceheart.

You probably mean the end credits, its the most famous track from the movie. Was it the one with the drums and whoosing sound?

I don't have an eBay account, my friend does.

I guess it's the one with a lot of synth bass (in fact, the synth bass make up the most of the "melody"). Not sure about the drums.
