it's a top view right? it sort of reminds me of a scarab bettle or something similar. not bad.

Yes, it is a top view.
The leg things are used for landing.

I can't decide yet which part is the front site

It does seem to lack discernable engines.

Though obviously the concept of a spaceship designed to operate almost exclusively in space except for landinds isn't governed so much by aerodynamics, so with a sufficiently exotic propulsion mechanism, it doesn't need a front end.

It would be nice to know which end is which though, for aesthetic reasons if nothing else.

looks cool. Warship, right side as the front, twin bigass cannons there. Then three small turrets on the top and a big central turret. Those orange-outlined blocks the two rear turrets are on could be good for engine-blocks. Not sure what the "tail" would be useful for, but it looks cool.

The front side is at the left of the picture.
The engines are the two things at the right.
The black thing is the cockpit, while the the things beneath it are guided missiles; there is only one rear turret, between the engines.
The biggest gun the one at the center, the other three are equal.
