<deleted because I'm really not proud of PWs who went on to start the Tea Party and that I was involved with them once>

...As something of a centrist, I look at this...and then I flip 96 percent of the pictured people the bird and wander off. Both sides foaming at the mouth, just one foams red, and the other blue.

I'm a centrist, too. It's just that I can't stand commies.

Have a very nice day.

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said pic heavy... That looks like it was pretty fun fgalkin. Though I always pictured you with a beard, huh.]

Anyway, like I said, looks like it was fun as hell.

Frankly, if I had to choose between ANSWER and a bunch of right-wing idiots who subscribe to the idiotic "Liberals = TEH EVIL!!" viewpoint I'd stay home.

The best part is the parade of the shocked commies as they walk by and see your signs. Nice move, BTW, with the Lebanon and Tibet signs. Also, the ANSWER goons trying to kick you out...priceless. So much for dissent.

Can't say I agree with every single PW sign, but still very funny stuff.

You ought to have seen some of the anti-US military protests they have here every so often. Great entertainment. Plus, it's always fun to watch the extremists eye the Marines in town; most of the Okinawans have absolutely no problem with Americans, but it's hilarious to see the really anti-American ones struggle between their desire to taunt the Marines and their desire to not get their teeth kicked in.

Awesome, I loved them trying to throw you out.

I thought that was funny too. Was Gangsta Security Inc (The Best Cap Busta's In the Business) affliated with ANSWER or was it a third-party group hired to keep away dissenters?

EDIT: When I get back to the States, I'm toying with the notion of going to a protest with signs saying "WE CAN'T TRUST THE PRESIDENT...ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGAR FOR EMPEROR".

In fact, now that I think about it, the US doesn't have any monarchist parties, now does it? Maybe an Imperial Party USA is in order.

DOUBLE EDIT: Another fun sign could be "END MILITARY OCCUPATION...ANNEX IRAQ NOW"

Honestly, I have no idea. They're not the easiest people to talk to, you know. :D

We tried getting in before that, and they stopped us, so we had to sneak into the perimeter in groups of 2

Have a very nice day.

Screw that - who's the hot chick with the Aristotle quote sign? Yummy.

Well I will point out who was our worst president, James Buchannan. He sat around and pretty much did nothing while the nation fell apart around him.

It's sickening how much Socialist/Communist imagery was about. And when did we begin occupying Palestine, Haiti and The Phillipines?

P.S.: This thread caused a virtual memory warning to pop up. You, sir, definitely rock.

I love it, good job.

You know the irony of one of the pictures? It is stated, I think in the rules of flag etiquette that if you have the flag upside down you are in great distress, danger, or peril.

Unless that's what they were trying to say, but I highly doubt they'd actually think that far.

... Why does the guy holding the "Victory to the Iraqi resistance" sign looks like he rode the tiny bus to Stupid Town? I love you, Steven Colbert.

Yeah, that's a great Photobucket 'Bandwidth exceeded' pic. :P

It did at least last long enough for me to find out that fgalkin truly doesn't look anything like Regent Verini.

Y'know, if Protest Warrior had been around back in the day when I was a burned out, disgruntled Republican Revolutionary, I might not have ended up such a cynical misanthrope with regards to politics.

Then again, I probably would have anyway.

Holy shit. You exceeded PHOTOBUCKET's bandwidth.

... Wow.

Anywho, great job out there. Say, do the NYC chapter guys know that you're the infamous Zakalwe on the forums?

Yeah, that'd be the result of the idiots on the PW forums constantly quoting the pictures in the thread over there. I'm going to post a big old "I told you so" now, since they have just vindicated my ongoing crusade against the rampant quoting of pictures on that board. This should shut NeoConquistador up...

That is ALWAYS the best part.

Yep. Fear the rampant hypocrisy. You should have seen the latest San Francisco Indymedia thread on PW; some jackass was saying that if the San Francisco chapter showed up at the next protest he'd stick them with an HIV infected needle. As the first link in my sig observes, peace protesters my ass.
Can't say I agree with every single PW sign, but still very funny stuff.
Yeah, some of the membership goes way the hell too far into Rightyland, but the organization's still fun to have around. :D
