I have decided that I am either going to be Ace Ventura or The Mask for halloween and I need to start building the costume now. Can any of you use your superior googling skillzorz and help me locate a REALLY good looking costume for either?

Ebay for a yellow zoot suit, I believe that's what he wore most of the time, or you could go for that pinstriped double-breasted thing he had at the end. For your face, just find a local costume shop or something and get some grease paint-- easy as that

depends on how much you're willing to spend really. suavecito has some nice zoot suits, though they'll cost you about $300.00 apiece. i'd imagine the mask itself would be the easy part.

Why bother? Unless you don't like the idea of grease paint, that really was about how they did it... just put a bald-head cap on Carrey, a little putty here and there to emphasize his expressions, and painted his head green. Simple enough...

Unless you mean the actual wooden one? In that case, I have no idea. You've got plenty of time, maybe you could mock one up?

Why not Ace Ventura? Some hair goop, hawaiian shirt, talking ass, and you're all set!

The "Mask" persona can get away with more at a party.
