Any of you guys handy with button creation? You may have noticed that I just added the "Quick Reply Mod" to the board. See that "Quick Reply" button at the bottom of each thread, next to the normal "Reply" button? That's it. This is also why I haven't really been posting today; I've been tinkering with the code (and also investigating a search-related performance problem).

However, the default "Quick Reply" button image was designed for the subSilver theme, and it looks terrible on any other theme where it totally clashes with the other buttons. Is anyone skilled enough to make buttons for the digitaltwilight, millenniumFalcon, BlackSoul, and VereorLCARS themes that will actually fit into each respective theme's colour scheme and general layout?

I'm no graphics artist, but I'll give it a try Mike. I'm sure others here could easily make better ones. I'll need to verify which theme I'm using though. *looks*

I have a variation of the Quick Reply mod on my board, but there's no button to display it; it simply always displays if the user is logged in. Perhaps you could just save all the trouble and do that?

I also note that our names are now links that don't lead anywhere.

Do you want the quick reply button label to be "SPAM"?

Hmm, that's always possible (although it means more coding, and I think I've had enough coding for one day). Perhaps we should ask what people would prefer.

Dalton, did I remember to point out how much you rule?

Is there any difference between reply and quick reply? Aside from the fact that the thing comes up at the bottom as opposed to a new page.

Quick reply is a bit faster.

Furthermore, when you're replying to the last post in a thread as opposed to something more complex (which I'd guess QR is intended for), it lets you see said post in a larger font, with less scrolling (which is useful) and in its entirety as opposed to only the post's main body (which probably makes no difference whatsoever but I like it).

Thanks, man. It was a bitch getting a nice-looking clean base for it because of the gradients and lighting elements but I managed to get something that worked well. BlackSoul was hard too because of the unusual font I had to build some of those letters using...well, other letters, heh.

You can change which theme you view the board in in your profile settings.
