This is a city on a planet? What's the gigantic structure at the center for?

I would endeavour that it's a cluster of smaller buildings atop some kind of elevated structure, possibly a "historical district". Something like that.

Anyway, I love the symmetry of the layout.

I'm assuming they connect what I think are landing pads and defense platforms to the main structure in the center.

More of a Citadel than a City, Cities are generally much more amorphus.

What happens if city gets richer and the upper class gets larger? Then the whole radial concept will be fucked.

there's quite a lot of space and it's mostly empty anyway (it's past its "golden age")

that's the basis (unlike Atlantis this city doesn't fly or sink and it extends all the way to bottom)

Groovy. A partially underwater, floating citadel thing. That's really big.

Thumbs up!
