Stupid Photo/Scanner Malarkey

Post by Stark »

In my neverending quest for amusing pics, I need to scan some photos (one of me, apparently mid 'look I can turn my body into liquid' experience :)). I had a bit of a screw around, but they came out all grainy and shit. Does anyone have any tips? They're just ... well, regular photos. Shiny. I know nothing of chemical photography! :D Anyway, I need to give them back to Mandy's friend soon, so I need to scanzor them. Assist the creatively challenged!

Grainy. Sounds like either you´ve got too little dpi or made either dark spots a lot lighter or light spots a lot darker.

Are the grainy parts everywhere on the image or just in some places. With how many dpi are you scanning?
