No, they are light-up replicas. Some are the "Master Replica FX" sabers, others are custom made.

One of the guys in the background of the first picture has a hilt on his lightsaber with a "T" crossgard. It' looks cool but unless it's lightsaber resistant it isn't going to be of much use.

Is that a Jedi Crusader in the back there? Just change the costume a little and make that red band into a cross and he'd look like the crusaders of old (almost). Though, I don't think they used two-handed swords that much...

I didn't think this was possible with a digital camera!
Set exposure times to 1/2 or 1/4 second... longer, even, if you want to get some REALLY crazy effects.
Here's what you do: Set the camera on a tripod in near-dark room. Set the exposure time to 3 seconds. Turn on the flash. Have the dude with a lightsaber start twirling the thing around, and take a picture in mid-sequence. The flash will create a sharp image of your model, but the light of the saber will fill the place with some psychedelic imagery.
