Funny and wierd at the same time.

That was... odd.

I always wanted to see something like Picard sit down in his chair and say something like, `this chair feels funky... funky... give me a beat!` And then some beat comes on and the whole bridge crew funks out for the rest of episode.

Was that an out take from the TNG DVDs or something?

I don't know what's odder. Him doing the song routine, or the fact he starts singing about how much he loves someone just after addressing "Mister Crusher".

IIRC this was suppose to be for sesame street but it never made it.

It's the closing segment of A Tribute to Gene Roddenberry, a documentary on the TNG Season 5 DVD.

It's nice to see that atleast one British actor has a sense of humor about his role in a sci-fi franchise, unlike others.
