It's been fore-fucking-ever since I've bought a new music CD, and I knew you guys would have loads of suggestions. I prefer orchestral and classical music, but I dabble in many other musical fields, as far as my collection goes. Specifically, I would like some good techno (or industrial, something dark), classical/orchestral, and maybe some decent hiphop. (Yes, I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm willing to risk trying some. )

For Funk/Hiphop, I might suggest looking into Soulive (check the album "Doin Something") or the Roots. I've been listening to those two quite a bit recently of late.

Get the Sin City soundtrack, film noir turned on its head. Lots of bass, orchestra and cool.

Get the lates Nine Inch Nails album, too.

Check out ocremix.com if you want to score a few techno remixes of video game themes.

I suggest the Hail 117 Anthem by Mothergoat if you can find it, and if you follow Dalton's advice, get a hold of Tetris McVaffeQuasi Ultimix OC ReMix.

If you can, try and get a hold of Kanno-Hogari's new album, which I believe is called Aquarion (It may be nigh impossible though). It has brilliant orchestral tracks.
