Okey, so theres this navel parade thingy on Sunday, but 3 ships arrive early.

What does your loyal HAB grunt do? Steal the camera and take pictures.

Thanks in advance for helping me identify these ships.

EDIT: fixed my stupidity.
The collection

Dingy little shit transfarring men

The medium size ship, dosn't look like anything I know, now I've allways meant to ask, what are those tubes on the side? The ship isn't carrying anything that size in missles.

Rear shot of a ship who's name in english is Untamed or something similer

Masthead of big ship

Beauty shot of the frigate

Help recognize those missles

Rear shot of nice ship

Closeup of unknown missles

Now to explain the lack of artillary, theres a big pretty artillary, engineer and signal corps museam in St. Petersburg, but the only free day I had to vist it was coincidently the last thursday of the month, when its closed.

So what does the loyal HAB grunt do? SNEAK IN!
I'm serious, went to the employee's entrance and just stared. Of course, camera wasn't there, but there were lots of peices, some SP peices, mine clearing tanks, a few missle launchers, something that looks like a katyusha launcher on a tank.

Then it was on to the Aurora, which coincidently was closed on the 28th of July for maintanence, the ship is pretty, very nice guns, looks like something me and Shep sink in online games of SH3.
Now is the time to mention the great problem in Russia: The summer rains, now for some people its normal, for some who live in places where it only rains in the winter this was a great annoyance.

Oh, and I went to alot of palaces, pictures of those when I upload.

Okey.... and the big tubes infront of the RBU?

And what are the classes of the other two ships?

The turreted weapon in front of the RBU? I think it's a 30mm Russian CIWS

Here

A CIWS with tubes the width of a man? ;)

And what about the tubes on the sides? Highlighted here, not the white stuff but just behind it

Those tubes are the launch tubes for Anti Ship Missiles.

Thanks. Now answer about the ship types ;)

And come on, no one is commenting onto sneaking into that museam? ;)

And something intresting, the Peter Paul fortress, built in the 18th century, has not only the old wheel guns, but some sort of anti-air cannon, probebly used in the siege but not taken down.

Mr. Ace, I believe SMERSH is interested in you. Please, come with us. *men haul Ace away*

Oh yeah, nice pictures, but why were you in Saint Petersburg?

SMERSH? I'm afraid to ask ;)

Because some idiot decided I should vist it, so I did. Those pictures were worth it.
Now the weird part, when I first saw these ships, my first words were

"Oh my Shep"

And after taking the piccies I said the thread title.

The ship in pic 1028 is a Tarantul-class missile corvette. And yes, those tubes on the side are missile launchers.

The "cruiser" in pics 1029 and 1036 is actually a Krivak-class frigate: that quad missile launcher on the fo'castle is a dead giveaway.

Finally, the "destroyer" in pic 1035 is a patrol corvette judging by it's size and armamant (namely the RBU launchers, which are anti-submarine weapons). It's definately not a Grisha, which doesn't have a large radome on it's mast. Maybe a Parchim?

EDIT: After some google image searching, I'm now quite sure that is indeed a Parchim:

Thanks everyone for help and compliments. All of you with spare money should go to St. Petersburg this sunday for a navel parade.

Navel Parade? Like men and women parading down the streets with bare midriffs? :)

 Gah, second time someone pointed that out.

And coincidently, yes, it was a sunny evening and everyone was showing their stomach.

Fucking hot russians.

Frickin' awesome pictures, Ace. I think the beauty shot may find its way to my desktop background, if you don't mind?

Of course I don't, but I have to give thanks to St. Petersburg location in allowing me to take these pictures at 9PM.
