Does this bit of music appear anywhere as anything other than a 15 second exerpt?

Well, off the soundtrack it's 16 seconds long. Otherwise, no.

Forgive me, but where does this track actually appear in the film?

Was it part of another album, or is it somewhat less than legally appropriated?

<Looks at track listings on album>

Its definitely not on the vinyl album; the last track on the record is the dialogue between Bill and Sophie. I guess the CD has more tracks?

I was interested so I did some searching and came across this:
Hanzo Steel Remixes

Looks like it is a compliation of remixes from the Kill Bill soundtracks including Ironsides.

They also have a sample of the Ironsides remix:

It was..umm...appropriated when I was downloading the tracks of the Kill Bill Soundtrack independently, rather than the whole album.

Have a very a very nice day.

Odd. I've seen the CD and I don't remember a 3:47 version of the song.
