Having been a huge Demons And Wizards fan for quite some time (even more so than Iced Earth in recent years), I suspect my curiosity about Mr Kürsch's other musical outlet will soon develop into the need to buy some, but where is the best place to start?

Nightfall.

It rocks so much that I bought the T-shirt.

I would say Follow the Blind myself, but out of the options, Nightfall in Middle Earth. Of course, that's mainly because I like the concept tracks, with Morgoth speaking to Sauron and so forth. If you just want the heavy metal, go for something else.

Follow The Blind is more straight out thrash/trad metal, innit? I seem to be getting a bit proggier in my old age. It's all Ian Anderson's fault.

Mostly, except for the first track, which is the monk chant from Monty Python and the Holy Grail with some instruments added. 8)

I'm gonna have to say Nightfall in Middle Earth becuase it's the telling Silmarillion in a musical format. Plus the track titled "the Eldar" is one of my favorite BG songs of all-time.
