I don't know how many of you have a voyeuristic interest to see other peoples' lives in pictures, but my spotty family photo album on my personal website has been improved and updated, by adding more pictures, properly categorizing them by date, and filling in all of the missing captions. Just FYI.

I see you went to a Medieval Times show. I went to one near Chicago, was really fun. I went with my choir to do one of those singing contests where you get judged. Anyways, it was alot of fun, we continually rooted for our yellow knight and would boo at the knight of the opposing team's (who was one of our choir competitors). My only complaint is, the amount of food was kept on the skinny. I really liked the vegetable soup, I wish my wentch had given more.

And yes, I would recommend anyone to go to a Medieval Times show, very much fun.

Holy crap, man. The boys have grown.

You met Wayne? Shit, I had no idea. Must have been a nexus of dark side energy...or maybe that was just Wayne's gravitational pull...

Yeah, I met Wayne when I was in Los Angeles last year. I was really embarrassed because we got caught up in traffic and were really late for the meeting, but I called him on the cellphone to warn him that we were stuck and he knew what happened. We chatted for a while and then had dinner. The restaurant was just next-door to the hotel so Rebecca took the kids back to the hotel when she (and they) got tired, and Wayne and I just sat around and chit-chatted for a while afterwards. It was nice to be able to talk to him face to face.

When I finally do get to go to NYC, I have to make sure I can drop by to see you too.

Cool. Does he swear as much in real life as he does here? :)

Question, what did your kids think of you meeting Wayne? I mean, its not every day you say to the kids "Kids, this is someone who I've been chatting with for years online".

Would you let your kids(assume they were older...say 15 or so) meet someone they met online, under controlled conditions?

No, but I'm not a Trektard.

They didn't think anything of it, because as far as they were concerned, we were just going to meet some guy that Daddy knows. They didn't bother asking how I know him. As for letting my own kids meet somebody in real-life that they met on-line, that would depend on the situation, the conditions of the meeting, whether I can observe, etc. You can't make a blanket rule on something like that.

Say...I'll take my situation, meet up at a movie, you can see who it is before they go off and you can ask any questions, then they're off for a movie or somethng.
