A bit too geeky for me.

A bit? What was the back-breaking straw, the side-mounted laser cannons or the R2 unit?

Seriously, this thing seems intended to make a fashion statement, and that statement is "I am a geek!" Not in a good way, either.

(Also: hasn't it been around for a few years now?)

Seems like this has been posted before.

And yes, a bit too geeky for me too.

At least it's better looking than that Trek car.

Have a very nice day.

Maybe it's just me, but I dig it... not something I'd ride about in everyday, though, for obvious reasons...

Sweet.

Me and my friends are still planning on getting an old van, painting it Bright Fucking Red™ and then writing "WAAAAAAAGH!" on it plus dakka, shooty, grim, speed, and bad glyphs and covering it in gubbinz... maybe a wrecking ball or dozer blade depending on legality.

I like the interior. For some reason I've always wanted random switches and buttons to push when I start my car.

Eh, if it wasn't for the r2 on the back and the rebel insignia on the bonnet I'd say it rimnded me more of the car from Back to the Future than any SW vehicle.

What does the Aurebesh on the side state? "Cmdr. Shawn Crosay"?

(Am I too much of a geek if I was able to puzzle it out after getting about half the letters, and then thought he should have used the SH instad of S-H for his first name?) :?

Although I love the Imperial Kill Counters. If I had anything with guns my kill counters would be either that or the Aquila.

Haha. Great quality.

Incidentally, why does that one ad always seem to think I'm in New York? All the chicks it shows off are from there... :?

On an off topic note, if you view the pictures enough you'll note there's a lot less random pictures to align with random names and ages, because I got the same woman for different names. As if anyone thought they were real people in the first place.

It doesn't have nacelles. And it is *so* obviously made of plywood. The SW car still wins. :P

The SW car wouldn't be quite so bad if the paint job wasn't so hideous. :?

I don't like the Star Trek Car, its just too boxy and without the nasels with the wheels and undercarriage like that is looks bad. Anyway it looks like it would be a pain to drive as well all that plywood would just be so heavy.

I wouls look better if they used fiberglass and put it in place of the car panels unstead of over them.

I've seen this before. The girl who did the car (yes, it's actually a woman!) remarked on her website that it's generated an unusual amount of attention, and that she basically just wanted to have a car that looked different from the others out there, and since she's a huge Star Wars nerd it seemed the ideal way to do that.

Of course I'm very loosely paraphrasing from memory, so take it with a grain of salt.

Unless you happen to be chased by the Blood Angels.

Okay, it's pretty cool that a woman made it, but it's just a bit too gaudy and random for my tastes.

I'll **HAVE** to get pics of it, but there's a converted Dodge Caravan / Ford Windstar that goes round town here that's been converted to look like a Federation shuttle. It's called the USS Haise, according to the markings on the side.

I pulled up next to it at a light once, but by the time I dug out my camera, the light changed. I've seen it two or three more times after that, but it's always headed the other way and there's never time to grab the camera.

Edit: Name of car.
