Nice, Just the top one looks like a sniper bot, because it has no arms, but a gun. Iknow its the wrong type, but sending it into battle against ones with arms might get the armless one killed.

That all depends on the armour and armament utilised by the opposing units - of course, this one has no arm joints to exploit, unliked an armed mecha.

The top one has no arms because I wanted to show some detail on the torso. I also wanted a mech to be as simple and as powerful as possible, that ment replacing any anthropomorphic arms with more guns! I think that is a good solution...

They look great Muffin, you've got alot of great detail in them.
How did you do the texture on the second image?
I used a custom pattern made and edited with photshop. It can be quite a chore at first, but after a few they get easier.
