Thanks crazy, now I have a favor to ask, could you put the emblem on a black background? I want to use it as wallpaper.:)

Can't you do that yourself?

Yeah, but it would look extremely crappy.

Thanks! By the way, what's dithering?

It's the little jaggies you see around the edges, I think.

I wouldn't have said he dithered at all. He came straight back without delay!!

Heh. No, I was just saying that I compressed it a little too much :)

I know  I was just being silly (not at all like me, I know...)

But image conversion to GIF (or high compression to JPG) often gives rise to the dithering syndrome. Sometimes using a mild "sharpen" effect can reduce it a bit, but it depends on the amount of detail/contrast.

Personally, I use Paint Shop Pro and find that the GIF conversion is quite nice, especially when compared to a Microsoft application...

Yeah, I know. I used Paint Shop Pro (actually, I traced the logo in vector mode to get a clean copy) but saved the only copy as JPEG with high compression by mistake. I didn't feel like redoing it.
