Added the bit about not being a dick. The FAQ states that pictures around 500 pixels wide are about as big as they should get before you link to them, so please, have some consideration for people's formatting.

Edit(GR): Or more specifcally this rule Do not inline link (i.e. use img tags) images wider than 600 pixels or larger than 75kb. Have some consideration for people that aren't using 2000*1400 resolution.

EDIT 2 (by DW): For those of you with red-eye, try turning off the green and blue channels (so that the red channel is the only active one) and then using the "burn" tool and painting over the red spots. This will remove the redness without altering the other colours. You'll need a relatively powerful image processor for this (like GIMP), not something crappy like Paint, but GIMP is free for download.
