Where the hell do you find an avatar that is only 6k's big. I for the life of me can't find a picture with a file size so small.

suggestions would be appreciated.

Hop into photoshop or similar and say "save for web" then lower the quality scalings until you get 6k.

This might be a stupid question, but: did you try saving it as an 80x80 JPEG?
