Then you can come to me and clear the driveway. Using the high tech help of a shovel.
People tend to forget stuff like that in their nostalgia don't they :D
Still, it's rather pretty.

I wanana it to snoooow! As I've mentioned before the only part of parent to child indoctrination that ever worked on me was the "shoveling snow=builds charater". In fact I'm holding my snow shovel right now. No realy I am! I want to cry when I see the wet but snowfree 40*F tempature outside here in DC.

I've complained about it being 50 degrees in what is supposed to be winter in South Jersey before, but at least those times, there wasn't two feet of snow on the ground at that time last year. There has to be a cold front coming up or something. A winter without a good snowfall is like a year without a Christmas.

Speaking as someone who lives in a place that has not recieved
RAIN in over three months.. I would just like to say, Lucky
Bastard!

And yes... I know that it would seem silly for anyone to think it "Lucky" to
recieve that much snow... But when you have grown up in a City that
gets 10" of rain per YEAR and has 'winters' of 70degree Highs, well... I
repeat my previous statment.

This has been a fucking pitiful winter this year. Snow, warm up, snow, warm up. Hardly any snow is sticking around and the roads have torn themselves to pieces with the constant moisture and freeze/thaw cycle.

Heat is warmth -- how hot something is -- and a heat index is how hot the air feels, as opposed to how hot it actually is. For example, humidity makes the heat index rise above the actual temperature, IIRC.

Good pics bro :)

And about the heat index, humidity will do jack shit in -10 to -20C and so on but high wind! Windchill is way more inportaint.

But last week -10 and close to a blizzard and I still took a long walk, layered clothing and goretex is da shit!

I live in springfield, MO, USA, and we have not had any snow stay on the ground at all. In December on some days you could walk around in a T-shirt.

It was...at least mid-sixties, maybe seventy here yesterday. Hasn't been negative all year, or even within ten degrees of it, as far as I know. Pathetic excuse for a season...

I'm sorry! I misconstrued your question; it was my mistake.

Speaking of snow, though, it's snowing outside. Finally, winter again, after a month of spring!
