i don't know if this is the place to post this or not but I was wondering how you get the avatar to work. What i tried was to take a picture shrink the size in paint but it ends up all fuzzy and its over 6kb. Does anyone know where i can find already made Avatar pictures?

Paint isn't really the right tool for this kind of thing--or much of anything, for that metter. Get Irfanview (free) and use it to rescale the image and save it as a medium or low quality JPEG. If you can't figure it out, post a link to the avatar image you want to use and I'll reduce it for you.

You can use the "Save for Web..." option in PS to save as a giff.

Oh just another question. I want to upload a christmas type avatar, but how do i reduce it to less than 6kb using that program or by any means.

I use MS Paint to create avatars, and I think they turn out OK.

It works, you just have to know what you're doing.

I use CW paint.

I use Sun StarOffice to shrink my avatars. MSPaint doesn't have enough colors to be of any use.
