Well, after several well-considered purchases at a Sam Goody having a Going-Out-Of-Business Sale, I have pretty much fully stocked my nerd shelf.

Behold!

My nerd shelf is disassembled at the moment, sadly. Gaming books are scattered to the four winds with my gaming group. :(

Now the only thing missing is a giant lego stardestroyer! :D

Woah! The Nerd Density on that shelf must be so high that it's probably sucking more nerdy stuff to it as we speak

Impressive.

Most impressive.

But how much work does it take to organize something like that? Mine is pretty much haphazard collections of books and DVD's laid out in no particular order.

Not a lot of work, really. It's a good thing I'm anal retentive. I have it organized as such:

Top shelf: Figurines and models etc. You get the idea.
1st shelf: LOTR shelf!!1
2nd shelf: 8 seasons of Stargate SG-1
3rd shelf: Science fiction series (I have to move MacGyver!!1) followed by anime
4th shelf: Anime followed by TV shows, then movies
Bottom shelf: Video games.

Gargle Gargle (Choking on drool), curse my parents for convincing me to donate my lego set...
You have quite a lot of DVD's....
This Suddenly feels less impressive, still give me a few years to use my cash on dvd's instead of just books :P.
Just what series do you have there? (Graphic novels and LOTR aside)

EDIT: Sorry for repeating an answered question, left the reply link open for ages so didn't see your reply  . Still what's on shelf 4,5,6 in detail :?:

We had a thread about it. They released it with an episode shortchanging us and many people complained and changed it. That was last year too.

That's a cool shelf, Dalton. If Hotfoot actually organized his stuff to look as good as yours, he would easily beat you though. :D

Whose Hotfoot?
A well-known poster here who GMs our SG-14 missions. Bears a passing resemblance to Jason Mewes.

Note to self. Write myself into Dalton's will to get this shelf.

That rocks so hard Dalton. I'd tried to do something similar with Media Play, but I went to late and they didn't have any of the good things left.

To be fair, my DVD collection is still pretty small, though it is growing, and my console collection, meh.

Of course, computer games, well...heh ;)

Very nice though. I approve.
