Rosie attended the "Meeting Of The Queens" thursday, where the Queen Mary 2 met the Queen Mary for the first time, in Long Beach, CA.

I liked the look of QM better than the QM2.

AM I the only one who read the title and thought of an Event in San Francisco?

The triple funnel of the QM1 makes it look much classier than the toy-like single-funnel of QM2.

A lot of people say that. Rosie was right there, and I had to convince her the QM2 is much longer and much wider than the QM. It's just not a majestic ship.

No cruise ships are. They're just balconies stacked on a barge. Ocean liners are elegant.

I'll confess, I too had high hopes for this being about something distinctly different.

I see the QM2 every time it stops in NYC, and let me tell you, that thing is huge. But majestic? That's another story entirely. I'd much prefer the look of other cruise ships that stop by in NYC to that of the QM2. It tries to look like elegant when it isn't, it's just big.

Have a very nice day.

Well I ask you then... What Modern Ocean Liners do ye think of as truely "Majestic" if any?

The Norway (formerly the France) is still the classiest big ship on the ocean, even if they have painted the hull blue.
