Thats neat. Scary librarians reminds me of one of my school librarians. I swear she has eaten over 5 students alive.

It became my favorite webcomic after Dragon Tails stopped being updated.

At least that picture explaines the whole library joke during the SAIA story arc.

According to the comic, Cubi are shapeshifting mindreaders who are natural magicians. They 'feed' on emotions: love hate fear pain joy, it just depends on the 'clan' of Cubi. Most of them use sex as a weapon or a tool for feeding. All of them can fly, and the tentacles that grow from their lower wings are semi-autonomous. Think of Doc Oct's arms in the movie: small AI under the Cubi's direction. Thus, you have the one head threatening you, and the next closest peeking out of one eye and smirking.
Or did you not notice the ones further back had their eyes closed?
