Some sunset/dusk photos

Yesterday, having finished a concert and gone outside, I noticed that the sky was very much cool. I put my saxophone in my car, drove home quickly, grabbed my camera, and then ran up the large hill next to my house (hills and trees everywhere make for difficulty in photographing the horizon unless one finds a point of high elevation).

Most of the glory of it was gone by the time I got to a favorable photo-shooting location, but I managed to get a few shots of the last of the sunset before walking home wondering what the hell posessed me to sprint up the next best thing to a mountain to take a few photographs. Not what they could be, but they're still pretty, so I figure I'll share them here.

Very pretty; I recently saw a very nice sunset that I would have loved to have taken a photo of, but I had no access to a camera. Nice pinks and oranges settled in amongst the mountains, good cloud shapes, and even the city lights added to it. Pity I couldn't get a photo.

Those are nice pictures of the skyline. Very cool.

I don't think you'd have one, but if you ever get access to a Neutral Density filter for your camera, they can really make your sunsets pop.

I'm just using an inexpensive little digital camera. Don't think I can do much in the way of filters for it...
