Reminds of the Mac/windows OS girls.

I think they suck. The proportions are crap and the postures are inelegant, and the clothes don't fold properly. The "sexiness" is trying too hard, rather than flowing out of the natural contours.

And yes, it's the overly cute, overly swishy look of the 'tan' types that make them so much fun. As a for instance heres a good Mac-Tan of the I-Mac.

I still think they suck. They look like atrocious webcomic art. I mean look at GC guy; his shoulders are at thalidomide angles, his ribcage has apparently collapsed in upon itself, his fingers are mutated and the groin is silly. His face would be monstrous if it were real.

And so on for the rest of them. The last one has a cool costume idea, but still looks goofy as hell.

Crossroads, it is not appropriate --ever-- to post art without citing the artist. I'm sure you know where these come from, in which case, there is no exuse for not mentioning their source. That is the simplest of courtesy.

Don't worry about it, I didn't see it.

I went the raptor route and assumed he just found them, I'd feel pretty mean if they were his works, but I guessed that the artist would be unlikely to be anyone on here whose feelings I cared about pissing all over so I could be up front about my dislike.

Sorry. My testiness was based off an assumption. I normally assume (since the only non-SDNet boards I really went to were art boards) that if there's a thread showcasing artwork and no one else is cited, that it is the work of the poster. I forget that there are other motivations in a more generalized art subforum .
