I found this on YouTube. It's on the day Prince and George Harrison were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Prince, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne and Dhani Harrison perform George Harrison's 'When My Guitar Gently Weeps'

If you love to listen to the guitar being played like it ought to be played, be prepared for your breath to be taken away.

Enjoy

Also, for a change of pace, I found that Chapelle episode of Prince and the Revoloution vs Eddie and Charlie Murphy in a game of basketball; funny ass shit

Hell yeah. I don't much care for acoustics, but that was some righteous electric playing there.

It's from the Beatle's White Album if I'm not mistaken. George Harrison brought in Eric Clapton to play lead guitar so that he could fall back to Rythm and sing. A much underated song, and a much (sadly) underated Beatle.

EDIT :: Oh I should add; that's not how the song sounds on the White Album, George's version (or more accurately the one Eric Clapton played on the album) is more mellow. But for the posthumous induction his son Dhani asked Prince (or made him promise) to 'cook' the solo to be more a rejoicing feeling.

Pretty damned good! But not as good as the original.

Also, Dhani Harrison looks insanely like his father.

I haven't heard the entire song yet. Is anyone else having problems with videos from YouTube loading? This is fucking stupid. The video only loads a quarter of the way, then it stops downloading.

Prince didn't play that guitar so much as make love to it. That was awesome.

I once saw a clip of a guy doing this song, vocal and instrumental parts on one Ukallale(sp?). It was nothing on this, although damn cool.
This was a great rendition.

Yes, it was Smells Like Teen Spirit and was posted a little while ago. Cool stuff.

That was not electric guitar, but instead a piece of art. A powerful fine tribute, I must say.

Dude. Every time I think I've got a good idea what Prince can do the man just blows me away. That was beautiful.

Holy shit, Prince just floored me there. And I thought Clapton's original solo was amazing.

Beautiful version, thanks a ton Crown, you made my day.
