Decided after I finished the gunship I was going to go out of my way to make Sketchup my bitch and thus started this. I'll update when I get major stuff done.

EDIT: Images now have a head, have been rounded off and tweaked a bit.

Close up of the head. The grill is obscuring a pair of pipes on either side of the face.

Didn't like the arms or the body, so I went back and redid those. Work continues.

That's pretty awesome; has the feel of an armoured knight.

I really like the head, it's like a knight crossed with an old locomotive.

It is supposed to be reminiscent of a knight, hence the name Ritter(german for knight).

Is this supposed to be a large mech or personal battle armor? If it's just personal stuff, then I'd make the waist a touch bigger.

it's going to be around 8 feet tall and is of yet unfinished.

Still haven't touched the ritter, mainly because I've been sidetracked. By what?

A pole arm

a flechette gun

And a keyblade for a friend who has no idea about it. It's being modelled from a drawing she did.

I am going to finish the ritter, it's just I learn how to do something new with each model. That's all.

Filler maybe, but I love well used Sketchup. The flechette gun is probably my favourite (the Keynlade is a little too 'busy').
