That's pretty damn funny.

Lots of truth on both sides too.
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,
Whoever knocks.

That scene was one of my faves, if for nothing else how Randall describes the ending. There were better, but that made the geek in me laugh hard.

By far the best scene in the movie. The end caught me off guard and nearly made me vomit out of pure hilarity.
You are an intelligent human being. Your life is valuable for its own sake. You are not second-class in the universe, deriving meaning and purpose from some other mind. You are not inherently evil—you are inherently human, possessing the positive rational potential to help make this a world of morality, peace and joy. Trust yourself. –Dan Barker

God, that's hilarious!

Frankly, I like both, but there are some very good points there :P.
"The rest of the poem plays upon that pun. On the contrary, says Catullus, although my verses are soft (molliculi ac parum pudici in line 8, reversing the play on words), they can arouse even limp old men. Should Furius and Aurelius have any remaining doubts about Catullus' virility, he offers to fuck them anally and orally to prove otherwise." - Catullus 16, Wikipedia

ROFLMAO. Finally saw it, I forgot about this thread since I viewed it at a time I couldn't watch it.

IMO, the argument is clearly pro-SW over LOTR- the way it ended is ample proof of that :)

I always thought it was bizarre to hear LOTR fans attacking the characters of SW rather than its tendency to undercut its own gravitas with childish interludes. The characters of LOTR are as flat as any cardboard cutout (or mannequin) could be. Both LOTR and SW rely on the fantastic spectacle to redeem flat characters. Neither Tolkien or Lucas seem to have any intuitive grasp of female characters. They actually share quite a few faults, although LOTR's biggest weakness is its ponderous pomposity and SW's biggest weakness is going too far the other way.
