That second one is awesome.

The last sketch is brilliant. I really like the perspective, and just the general mood.

Thanks a bunch everybody!!

Here's my stuff from art class so far. All graphite.
We had to draw this wiggly river rock thing,
except make it look like architecture, but not a building. Open-ended raaaa!
And now for the
exact opposite, DRAW THAT PERSON!
(1 hr, 40 min.
Unfinished, obviously. We have two more class periods to work on it, I think. The shading is not even CLOSE to done
and the face has barely been touched. This lack of shading shows worst on the torso and the back leg. One bar is too high, the far arm is a bit too thick nearing the elbow, and I only started shading the thighs so they're incredibly flat at the moment. The head looks small, too, since I've barely even started on her hair and the like. The buttocks are not yet flattened enough and the background is only barely defined. I thought I'd let you see a work-in-progress, though )

I very much like the two "when they were kids" portraits. Your work is awesome as always.

What a cool mom, huh?
Like a lioness!
I wasn't entirely sure it was her or if they were her kids. It is a shocking revelation indeed. It certainly explains her ability to be patient with Ryvara. Who's are they? They've got to be pretty ancient considering she's been pining over Umber for the last few thousand years.

That picture of Desunius and her children is really sweet. Aww.

I like the portrait of the younger Selia.
And it is totally awesome that Desunius has kids, because not only is that picture of her and her children adorable (I love her expression), it also means she's officially a MILF.

Thank you very much
. And yeah, Desunius is hot stuff, far as I'm concerned. Who can resist that boisterous charm?
Oh, and randomly, I'm convinced that if she and Hoquer had a child, it would be like one gigantic bicep.
Another class period worth of work, but still unfinished (class stopped RIGHT as I was starting to round out the breast. Damn.)
Really demonstrates the law of diminshing returns in art... .

She looks kinda bookish there; which is ironic, because she's probably writing something really ditsy.
The hair and eye color is absolutely stunning. I love it!

Nozoma looks
really studious, because composing such delicate rhetoric as "I hope stuff is being okay" is
extremely taxing.
The hair and eye color is absolutely stunning. I love it!
Thanks! I like a really anime-y anime drawing then and again

I agree with Darth Raptor; the coloration is quite stunning. I'm glad you're still able to produce works like this, even during your first few weeks of college.
That said, imagining what Nozoma's hair would actually look like outside of a still is an interesting experience.

Uo! I always thought Nozoma was cute, but that picture makes her look positively hot. The colouration is stunning to say the least; to see Nozoma animated would rival Haidee from Gankutsuou for sheer beauty.

The amount of shimmer would let her strap on a boombox and become a walking rave.
(Which I think would be awesome. And hilarious. Awesomely hilarious. Hilariously awesome. You get the idea.

I tend to think of sea gooseberries (some of the most beautiful creatures on Earth) in Alder/Nozoma's case.
Oh, comb jellies! Seeing those in action ... wow, no wonder Kesyl likes Alder; he'd be hella eye catching.
