What is worse? Ranchero vs Reggae

Post by Superman »

Which music, out of these two, do you hate more?

Ranchero: Blaring horns, polka rythm and crappy accordian playing. The perfect music to use for a sleep alarm.

Reggae: Super repetitive, crappy harmonizing, and little variety. I think Ranchero has a wider range... hear one reggae song, you've heard them all.

Ranchero, because I do like Reggae somewhat.

Well, at least Bob Marley.

Theres some reggae musicians I'm quite fond of like Buju Banton, Toots and the Maytals, and Bob Marley, and I've also heard some Ranchero music that's quite superb. However, I'll have to go with Reggae as being worse, even if Reggae music overall is dancable much more so that Ranchero (at least to me). I'm more likely to have my space polluted by some of that really horrible, dreadful, retarded reggae music which is out there, or at least it's passed off as reggae, than have it polluted by ranchero music.

Since I hear Ranchero far more than I do Reggae, it gets the hate heaped up onto it. I don't really see how anyone can listen to that stuff.

Have to vote against Ranchero, mostly because my parents are Caribbean Studies professors.

Ranchero, for the same reasons as Zod. It seems like everyone in the apartments around me likes to listen to that crap at high volume with the bass turned up, so everyone around can feel the bass rumble of the tuba.

I'd say Reggae, because pop musicians since it's inception have watered down and cheesed up the sound far more than with Ranchero.

Shit. I meant to vote for Reggae. So scratch one from Ranchero and move it.

I much prefer the horns and accordian, etc, to the drums and beat of reggae.
