Check this out, from Mark Kennedy's blog. It's a good read for aspiring comic artists (and some published ones who will remain nameless, hur hur). Even if he uses Disney characters as examples, they can be very well used for any type of comic art.

Ace. Absolutely. Some rules hold hard and fast, and this guy clearly knows his stuff. Color me impressed!

Wonder if this is any good for visualizing scenes in my head, whether for prose or comic? :) (That is, for fics as well as comics.)

There was this thing in the second page where it says "tangents may occur in this step". What´s that about?

I thinks he talks about different lines that end up in the same point by change, they are unpleasing to the eye and need to be removed in the final version.
