I'd still favor the Scimitar.

The E-E's shields took a lengthy, pretty intense pounding, and you're right Alyeska--those quantorps did seem to do a lot of damage.

Then again, Shinzon farted around too much with trying to disable Enterprise, and his ship was somewhat depleted by those two new Warbirds, too.

I'm curious to know if the Romulans will pursue building more Scimitars. Since the whole thing is built around that radiation gun, I'd say probably not.

This is hardly a unique observation, but I also have to wonder if its strong resemblance to Jem'Hadar cruisers means some of its design is owed to stolen Dominion technology. We know Shinzon won about a dozen engagements in the war, so it's not totally inconceivable that he nabbed some of their equipment.

That's stuff that might not be easily duplicated, though, if true. It's just a hunch, explicable by any other no. of things I imagine.
Pain, or damage, don't end the world, or despair, or fuckin' beatin's. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, ya got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man ... and give some back.
