Enterprise-E in the delta quadrant

The caretaker array transports the Enterprise-E into the delta quadrant. Can Picard find a way home ?

The Enterprise-E is the most powerful ship in the Federation. It is many, many times stronger than Voyger so Picard would have little trouble wasting backward delta quadrant races which could not even defeat a scout ship like Voyger. However the news of an extremely powerful and advanced starship in the quadrant would spread fast and the Enterprise could find themselves under contstant attack by people who wants a piece the advanced technology the Enterprise incorporates.

Anything that Voyger did to get home the Enterprise could do much better. Even dealing with the Borg would not be a problem since Picard has prior experience.

The main question is whether Picard will act like Janeway or not ? Surely he obeys the Prime Directive to the last letter but he is far more competent than Janeway could ever be. He is after all the finest captain in the Federation while Janeway commands a little known scout ship. Also Picard does not contradict himself, Janeway on the other hand claims to obey the Prime Directive one day and makes stupid command decisions but the next day she breaks the Prime Directive and again makes some stupid decision. When presented with two choices with bad outcomes Janeway makes a third one that is even worse.

Lets see, the Enterprise is slightly faster, better armed and has a much larger stores thatn voyager so as such would need to make stops much less often then Voyager did. I wouldn't put it past Picard using the array to get home and then having a time delay fuse to cause it to go kablooy!

Assuming he doesn't make a time delay bomb on the array. They still are better than Voyager could ever have been, they wouldn't stop to go look through nebulae, and the ship wouldn't be full of rebels.

If it happens after the Nemesis refit, the E-E has very few problems getting home. Just use the array to hop back.

And Picard is 1000x better than Janeway could ever be, he probably wont even have to fight (Look out if he does though).

(Pichard would never be stupid enough to tell a species with a ship that big where they were from. Maybe where to go, but not where they were from).

Would it be possible to have my first officer returned to me while we continued on our way once you locate this Gagen? We don't have transwarp capacity, and it would be difficult to assist in your search"

Let them wipe the Borg out. Actually, let's help. Next time we see a Borg-alien fight, let's blast a few cubes....

More then likely, Species 8472 would be like 'the hell' (they are intelligent after all), and realise it's just the Borg that's the problem.

They could at the very least help. 8472 would atleast get the idea that the E-E is against the Borg, too. The only reason 8472 pursued Voyager in the first place (and Earth) was because of that Borg-Janeway pact, and no way in hell would Picard do that. Nooo way in hell.

Actually that isn't the only reason that 8472 went after Voyager....the other reason and most important is the fact that 8472 wanted to destroy all life in this universe...................

Nope, an 8472 bioship attacked Voyager before they linked up with the Borg, through it didn't persue them after they ran.

For some reason I can just see him taking every opportunity to kill Borg, even comming into the atmosphere of a Borg planet to strafe them with the E-E. The real question I wonder about is when they encounter a inert Borg cube like Voyager did will the just blow it up or scavenge it for equipment?

Wasn't it revealed though they wanted revenge because the Borg entered their universe and tried to assimilate them?
