Sorry! I am reading the threads, and collating the different opinions, but I've only been on the net in short bursts lately.

My sis has made me an uncle again! All will be well herer and on (ASVS) about Sunday! Now, back on topic, ye cretins!
Congradulations to your sister then. :)

Stark, I think he is talking about the EPISODE novels, not the story novels.
He does seem to be referring to episode and film novelizations, although there are some writers whose novels I'd vote for official status, specifically Peter David. David tends to stick to canon rather well, and is AFAIK the only novelist who's created original (non TV-based) Trek with remarkable success. (See: New Frontier.) Hell, his Captain Calhoun even got his own action figure, which I found, and still find, astonishing.

Ok, before we go any further, we have to see if the VS community would even accept this. I think its safe to say SD.net and ASVS encompass these people in the majority. (I left out spacebattles, because the general consensus is that b5 rules the VS debates there. And, I'm banned anyway.)

Were going to need a poll vote, both here and on ASVS. So, do we start another thread with a poll? (Let's not, until we hear the opinion of the mods) or just "Yea" and "Nay" right here? Paging Mr. Dalton: Should we vote directly on ASVS, or a poll vote on asvs.org?

Casts Spell: Raise Thread

So Lord Poe, how goes this? Is this project a go, or you still looking into it?

This is the first response to the last post I made on the subject. What do YOU think? :?

I'm not sure this is going to help Trek much at all, the novelisation for What we Leave behind had a pathetically low listed capital ship count for the fed portion of the invasion fleet.
