The Nova might not last long, but if its lasts long enough for the battlegroup to mass fire and knock out the Scimitars cloak, thats out of the picture.anarchistbunny wrote:Let us not forget the cloak and the advantage of the surprise attack, on full on barrage from that thing is probly good enough to take down anything but the Galaxy, the Nova won't last long, and any hope of easily targeting it. The execilors probly can't take too much fire from the Sci, while the Scimitar is taking lucky phaser potshots and random torp hits.

Scimitars only hope would be the thalaron weapon from long range. The fed battlegroup and their lack of characer shielding would be devastating

Urm, assuming that the Fed battlegroup is not being stupid and is relatively spread out, could the Thalaron cannon even affect all the ships at once?Darth Fanboy wrote:Scimitars only hope would be the thalaron weapon from long range. Its theoretically capable of wiping out a planet. I think that is wide enough for standard Fed fleet movements.Silver wrote:Urm, assuming that the Fed battlegroup is not being stupid and is relatively spread out, could the Thalaron cannon even affect all the ships at once?Darth Fanboy wrote:Scimitars only hope would be the thalaron weapon from long range. If not wide enough to take out the whole battle group, at least take out enough of it to be able to engage using conventional weapons
